We are now seeking a highly organised, proactive and technically minded Parts Coordinator to support the preparation, maintenance and build of our Formula One Heritage cars and associated assets for an 18 month fixed term contract.
Role Purpose
You will be responsible for the procurement, coordination and inventory management of parts, subcomponents and pit equipment required for the build, servicing and operation of Williams Heritage Formula One cars, both at our Witney facility and at events. This role prioritises client-owned assets, ensuring all build, maintenance and event deadlines are met professionally, efficiently and cost-effectively. A positive attitude, strong work ethic and high attention to detail are essential in helping the team deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Procurement
- Oversee procurement and inventory of subcomponents and pit equipment (Williams and client-owned) in line with design, specification and quality standards.
- Create, maintain and optimise procurement and inventory management processes.
- Catalogue, store and manage spare parts for Formula One cars using strong IT and database skills.
- Identify and resolve issues relating to delayed, obsolete or NLA parts, sourcing alternatives where needed.
- Work to deadlines and targets set by management and the wider business.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with the Heritage Car Build and Design Teams to provide accurate data, forecasting and reporting.
- Communicate technical or operational challenges in a timely manner and contribute to solutions.
- Build effective relationships across Heritage, Williams Racing Event Support, Race Team colleagues and third‑party suppliers.
- Positively represent the Williams Heritage and Williams Racing brands at all times.
Continuous Improvement & Professionalism
- Use experience and creative thinking to enhance future build operations and streamline information sharing.
- Contribute to the design, procurement and manufacturing processes for new or replacement components.
- Maintain high personal standards of professionalism, confidentiality and brand alignment.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and cost cap requirements.
Travel
- Primarily factory based, with occasional travel to suppliers, client events, demonstrations and racing activities.
Core Competencies
- Strong knowledge of inventory control methods.
- Proven ability to monitor procurement costs and work within budgets.
- Experience coordinating timelines for restoration, build or maintenance projects.
- Confident, clear communicator across technical and non‑technical teams.
- Highly organised, accurate and detail oriented.

Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience using CAD & PLM tools (e.g. Teamcenter, NX) is essential.
- Experience in motorsport, automotive, engineering, heritage vehicles or a technical build environment is advantageous.
- Strong IT literacy with the ability to build and manage departmental databases.
