THE OPPORTUNITY

Join Williams Racing as a Metallic Inspector and become part of Formula 1 history. Inspect precision-engineered components that power our F1 cars, working with cutting-edge metrology equipment in our state-of-the-art facilities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Measure and inspect metallic F1 components using CMMs, Romer arms, shadowgraphs, and surface testers
  • Apply GD&T knowledge and manufacturing expertise to ensure components meet exact specifications
  • Communicate findings to designers and team members
  • Work autonomously while maintaining exceptional quality standards
  • Support composite quality control when required

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Recognized apprenticeship or equivalent experience in precision manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Experience with high-performance metallic components (motorsport experience preferred)
  • Polyworks software experience highly advantageous
  • Solutions-focused approach with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines
