THE OPPORTUNITY
Join Williams Racing as a Metallic Inspector and become part of Formula 1 history. Inspect precision-engineered components that power our F1 cars, working with cutting-edge metrology equipment in our state-of-the-art facilities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Measure and inspect metallic F1 components using CMMs, Romer arms, shadowgraphs, and surface testers
- Apply GD&T knowledge and manufacturing expertise to ensure components meet exact specifications
- Communicate findings to designers and team members
- Work autonomously while maintaining exceptional quality standards
- Support composite quality control when required
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Recognized apprenticeship or equivalent experience in precision manufacturing
- Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience with high-performance metallic components (motorsport experience preferred)
- Polyworks software experience highly advantageous
- Solutions-focused approach with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines
