We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated STEM Teaching Assistant to join our growing STEM team at the Williams F1 Racing Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering industry-leading STEM experiences for young people visiting the Williams headquarters in Oxfordshire.

The Williams STEM Programme is a rapidly expanding initiative that has grown significantly since 2024. In 2026, the programme aims to inspire 15,000 young people by helping them apply STEM concepts, explore careers in science and engineering, and develop a passion for innovation through the world of Formula One.

As a STEM Teaching Assistant, you will help deliver engaging, hands-on STEM workshops that use Formula 1 as an exciting lens for learning. You will also support the day-to-day running of the experience, ensuring sessions are delivered smoothly and professionally for students, teachers, and partners.

In addition to workshop delivery, you will contribute to the development and improvement of educational content by supporting the creation of new learning activities, lesson resources, and digital materials. Working closely with the wider STEM team, you will help refine the curriculum to ensure an exceptional learning experience for students, teachers, and visiting stakeholders.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a flagship STEM initiative while inspiring the next generation of engineers, innovators, and problem-solvers.

Main Duties

  • Support and/or lead STEM workshops in collaboration with the Programme Facilitator, delivering interactive and engaging sessions for visiting students.

  • Prepare, organise, set up, maintain, and restock resources required for STEM workshops and experiences.

  • Provide additional learning support during sessions to ensure all students are engaged, included, and able to participate fully.

  • Assist with administrative tasks including analysing feedback data, measuring programme impact (NPS/CSAT), and managing communications with schools and stakeholders.

  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the STEM curriculum, including new activities, digital assets, and programme enhancements informed by feedback and best practice.

  • Support the creation of educational resources for schools and partners, including digital materials for the website and newsletters.

  • Participate in training and professional development to stay up to date with educational trends and effective teaching practices.

Key Accountabilities

  • Demonstrate and promote the values and behaviours of Williams F1 Racing Team, helping to foster a positive team culture.

  • Ensure full compliance with all health and safety and safeguarding policies.

  • Maintain high standards of personal conduct and act as a positive ambassador for the team and the STEM Department.

  • Uphold brand standards and present the department professionally at all times.

  • Work to established quality standards and contribute ideas to continuously improve personal and team performance.

  • Maintain awareness of cost cap regulations and adhere to organisational requirements where applicable.
