Are you skilled in procurement and ready to ensure seamless supply chain operations? We're looking for a Buyer to process purchase orders for the supply of goods and services, ensuring any engineering specifications, processes or issues are fully communicated, and that the purchase requirement is appropriately authorised. Main Duties:
- Expedite and progress deliveries from suppliers and maintain timely reporting of delivery status of parts outstanding, routinely feeding back status into internal stakeholders.
- Deal with any non-conformances quickly and effectively to minimise delays.
- Complete commercial checks of supplier payment terms, delivery terms and general terms and conditions to ensure these are aligned with Atlassian Williams Racing Requirements.
- Take the lead on tender processes, creating new contracts, inclusive of clear deliverables and terms and conditions.
- Development of a strategic supply base.
- Complete regular supplier audits.
- Ensure all aspects of transactional procurement of goods and services for category are achieved.
- Check supplier acknowledgments and challenge when required.
- Optimise total value being delivered to the race team on time, and to the required quality standard.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers that provide best value to the business.
- Support the Procurement team to achieve departmental measures of performance.

- Ensure understanding of cost cap rules and requirements.
Core Competencies:
- Understanding of technical drawings and procurement experience in mechanical or composite parts manufacturing is desirable.
- Excellent problem solving and ability to work under own initiative.
- Proactiveness to improve efficiencies and achieve best practice.
- Ability to engage stakeholders with impact and communicate effectively.
- Strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications and Experience Level:
- Qualification (or working towards) CIPS or similar is desirable but not essential.
- Experience working in F1, Motorsport is advantageous.
