Williams Racing is seeking a Senior Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Project Manager to spearhead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects that drive our performance on and off the track. This role is tailor-made for someone with extensive experience managing M&E projects and highly complex technical facilities—think laboratories, engineering hubs, and high-spec automotive production environments.
What You’ll Be Driving
- Project Management: Lead and manage M&E projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the work of M&E engineers, contractors, and other project team members.
- Design and Planning: Collaborate with architects, designers, and other stakeholders to develop detailed project plans and specifications.
- Contract Management: Oversee the procurement and management of M&E contracts, ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all work meets the required standards and specifications.
- Health and Safety: Ensure all projects comply with health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial efficiency.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including team members, contractors, and senior management.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive problem-solving and issue resolution.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in managing M&E projects, and highly complex technical facilities such as laboratories, engineering/automotive production operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- In-depth knowledge of M&E systems, construction methods, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
