Are you passionate about creating safer workplaces and driving a culture of continuous improvement? We’re looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Health & Safety Adviser to join our team and play a key role in supporting health and safety across all areas of our business, including shop floor, testing facilities, trackside, commercial and off-site teams.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting departments in developing and maintaining Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and SOPs.
- Leading accident and incident investigations, including root cause analysis and action planning.
- Conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance with internal and legal standards.
- Promoting safety awareness through toolbox talks and collaboration with the H&S committee.
- Advising on COSHH, PPE, and other key safety topics.
- Supporting contractor control, RAMS reviews, and statutory inspections.
What We’re Looking For:
- NEBOSH National Diploma (or equivalent) – essential.
- Auditing qualification – desirable.
- Experience in a manufacturing or high-performance environment.
- Strong knowledge of PUWER, DSEAR, LOLER, COSHH, and other key H&S areas.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- A resilient, empathetic, and engaging approach to influencing change.
