This is an opportunity to work in our state-of-the-art Graphics studio, at our HQ in Grove, Oxfordshire. You’ll help produce and apply the vinyl graphics that define how our cars, garage, and equipment are seen worldwide. This is not just a job, it’s an opportunity to grow your skills in one of the most demanding and exciting industries on the planet.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing and producing vinyl graphics using Roland cutting and printing equipment.
- Applying vinyl to complex, curved surfaces with care and consistency.
- Maintaining an organised, efficient, and safe graphics workspace.
- Working to tight deadlines while delivering flawless results.
- Supporting car livery updates and fast turnarounds during builds, tests, and race weekends.
Why Join Us?
At Williams Racing, you’ll be part of a team that values precision, creativity, and collaboration. You’ll contribute directly to how our brand is seen around the world and play a vital role in the visual identity of one of motorsport’s most iconic teams.
For almost 50 years, Atlassian Williams Racing has been at the forefront of one of the fastest sports on the planet, being one of the top three most successful teams in history competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship. With an almost unrivalled heritage of engineering and racing F1 cars and unforgettable eras that demonstrate it is a force to be reckoned with, the British squad boasts 16 F1 World Championship titles to its name.
Since its foundation in 1977 by the eminent, late Sir Frank Williams and engineering pioneer Sir Patrick Head, the team has won nine Constructors’ Championships, in association with Cosworth, Honda and Renault. Its roll call of drivers is legendary, with its seven Drivers’ Championship trophies being lifted by true icons of the sport: Alan Jones, Keke Rosberg, Nelson Piquet, Nigel Mansell, Alain Prost, Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve. The team has made history before and is out to make it again with a long-term mission to evolve and return to the front of the grid.
What We’re Looking For
- A proven fast learner as you’ll need to pick up new techniques quickly and show evidence of adapting to new skills or processes in past roles, training, or education.
- A genuine interest in Formula One and vinyl graphics, passion for motorsport and creativity is key.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude we value team players who take pride in their work.
- Great attention to detail because precision matters, especially when producing perfect finishes.
- Previous experience with vinyl graphics, sign making, or wrapping is a plus but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Basic computer skills familiarity with design software (e.g. Adobe Illustrator) is an advantage.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills you’ll be part of a small, close-knit unit.
- Flexible and willing to travel.
- A valid driver’s licence is desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, especially during race weekends.
This job description is not exhaustive, and the job holder will be required to carry out from time-to-time tasks in addition to the above that will be both reasonable and within their capabilities.
