Inventory Control and Internal Logistics Manager - 12 months FTC

Williams is seeking a skilled professional for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to take ownership of the internal supply chain. In this role, you will ensure production areas receive the raw materials and sub‑components they need, fully kitted and delivered on time. Using our ERP system, you will maintain an accurate stock profile to enable effective forecasting and MRP usage, helping to minimise inventory provisions, reduce waste, and support efficient factory operations.

Main Duties: 

  • Manage the WF1 Logistics team, driving best practice in support of physical inventory accuracy. Focusing on MW Locations but expanding across the entire WF1 Warehouse portfolio.  
  • Work closely with the finance team to minimise Inventory provision, providing a real time view of our stock position.  
  • Work with CI Champions and Engineers to develop internal processes to ensure smooth flow through the factory, allowing production to concentrate on core production activities.  
  • Collaborate with the Operations Planning team and Business Analysts to make best use of our ERP system and data, supporting our ability to forecast raw material and standard part use.  
  • Develop processes that support the use of consignment stock with our raw material supply partners, focusing on reduction of our raw material holding and removal of obsolete materials.  
  • Management of department budget, looking at cost reduction where possible to support Cost Cap optimisation.

Qualifications

  • Experience with process development and associated KPIs 
  • Strong understanding of Dynamics 365, ideally as a super-user.  
  • Experience of working within motorsport industry / F1 is desirable.
