Williams a looking for someone own the internal supply chain, ensuring production areas have raw materials and subcomponents kitted and delivered to the required areas as needed. Using our ERP system, you will drive an accurate stock profile allowing for forecasting and MRP to be used where possible, minimising the requirement for inventory provisions and reduce waste.
Main Duties:
- Manage the WF1 Logistics team, driving best practice in support of physical inventory accuracy. Focusing on MW Locations but expanding across the entire WF1 Warehouse portfolio.
- Work closely with the finance team to minimise Inventory provision, providing a real time view of our stock position.
- Work with CI Champions and Engineers to develop internal processes to ensure smooth flow through the factory, allowing production to concentrate on core production activities.
- Collaborate with the Operations Planning team and Business Analysts to make best use of our ERP system and data, supporting our ability to forecast raw material and standard part use.
- Develop processes that support the use of consignment stock with our raw material supply partners, focusing on reduction of our raw material holding and removal of obsolete materials.
- Management of department budget, looking at cost reduction where possible to support Cost Cap optimisation.

- Appreciation of financial impact of inventory practices, ensuring data is accurate for all stakeholders

- Experience with process development and associated KPIs
- Strong understanding of Dynamics 365, ideally as a super-user.
- Experience of working within motorsport industry / F1 is desirable.
