We are hiring for the following roles:      

• Parts & Lifing Industrial Placement 

We are seeking a proactive Industrial Placement student to join our Parts & Lifing team within Williams Racing’s Operations function. This role plays a pivotal part of the team that is last in line before the race team. Working closely with the race team to understand their requirements, parts logistics ensure that the information required to build the race cars and support events, is understood and prioritised throughout the business. The parts and lifing teams are responsible for not only ensuring the parts are available when required, but the service schedule is maintained on all components, meaning the car is both safe and reliable. 

You’ll work on real-world projects that drive operational efficiency and contribute directly to race readiness. A STEM-related degree is essential, along with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Experience with SharePoint and Power BI is advantageous.

• Ops Planning/Scheduling Industrial Placement 

We are seeking an engineering-focused Industrial Placement student to join our Operations Planning team. This hands-on role offers exposure to production, assembly, and testing workflows, supporting the planning and scheduling of race car components from design to delivery.  

You’ll collaborate across departments to optimise timelines, resolve delivery barriers, and ensure parts are completed on time and to specification. A strong engineering background is essential, along with proficiency in Excel and a basic understanding of ERP/MRP systems. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is advantageous.
