Top Tips for Your Application:
Broaden your CV beyond Formula 1.
While F1 is exciting, we want to see the full picture of your engineering experience. Include any relevant projects, part‑time roles or personal builds that demonstrate your skillset. Make sure your education is clear and use your CV to showcase what you can do.
Do your research.
Whether you prefer reading articles, watching YouTube videos, listening to podcasts, or taking online courses, use these resources to explore different areas of engineering. This will help you understand the breadth of the industry and identify where you see your future career developing.
Experiment to discover what you enjoy.
There is no single route to success. Whether you’re in your first year of university, deciding between an apprenticeship and a degree, or still exploring your options, what matters most to us is your passion for engineering - not that you have every step planned out. Try different things, get hands-on, and follow what excites you.
Please note, you must be a school/college student in year 10-13 or in your first year of university studies to take part in this programme. Work experience is not appropriate for university level students beyond their first year. If you are outside of these education restrictions, your application won't be considered to move forward.
