Drive our sustainability strategy in the fast-paced world of Formula 1!
Williams Racing is seeking a Climate Impact Lead to spearhead our carbon reduction initiatives and Science Based Targets submission.
The Role
As Climate Impact Lead, you'll coordinate our Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) submission and implement impactful carbon reduction strategies across our operations. You'll be instrumental in embedding sustainability within our high-performance culture while maintaining our competitive edge in Formula 1.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead our SBTi target submission process and develop robust greenhouse gas reduction strategies
- Create and execute a comprehensive roadmap for sustainability initiatives
- Establish effective monitoring systems for tracking our carbon footprint and environmental KPIs
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and maintain key certifications
- Collaborate across departments to integrate sustainability into all business operations
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders as our sustainability ambassador
Must-Have Qualifications
- Strong SBTi expertise with proven experience developing science-based climate targets
- Comprehensive understanding of Greenhouse Gas emissions protocol and carbon accounting frameworks
- Program management experience from initial concept through planning and execution of sustainability initiatives
- Project coordination skills combining both strategic planning and hands-on delivery of environmental projects
