Functional Description:
This is a specialist team within Vehicle Engineering, responsible for the design and development of equipment and systems that support car component manufacture, car build, component testing and car operation. The team’s scope includes pit & garage equipment - including pit stops, test rigs and dynos, manufacturing jigs, driver simulation hardware, and driver fit activities. OCE works closely with departments across the business to deliver high-quality, repeatable solutions that meet the demands of all aspects of a F1 team.
Off - Car Engineering (OCE) Industrial Placement:
A placement in Off-Car Engineering (OCE) offers a unique opportunity to design components that support every area of the company. You'll collaborate with other design groups to develop manufacturing and testing jigs and fixtures, work closely with the race team on pit and garage equipment, and get hands-on experience with driver fits, as well as our class-leading simulators and dyno facilities. You'll be part of a highly skilled team with a broad range of experience and specialisms, working in a fast-paced and demanding environment where innovation and precision are key.

Completed a degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics)
Strong aptitude for CAD and mechanical design (essential)
