The Performance Systems department comprising Race Operations and Performance Optimisation forms the backbone of race execution, relentlessly focused on turning potential into championship results. Race Operations is the heartbeat of trackside performance, covering critical functions such as Race Engineering, Strategy, Tyres, and Coordination. This team leads the planning and execution of each race weekend, using data-driven insights and engineering precision to maximise car and driver performance. Meanwhile, Performance Optimisation focuses on extracting every ounce of speed and efficiency from both car and driver, spanning the full race cycle from pre-event planning and simulation to live support and post-event analysis. Leveraging cutting-edge tools and data platforms, the team continuously refines performance and pushes boundaries. Together, Race Operations and Performance Optimisation form a seamless unit dedicated to delivering peak performance under pressure and transforming potential into results.
We are hiring for the following roles:
- Race Operations Graduate
As a Race Operations Graduate, you will be at the heart of our Race Operations team, where you’ll play a critical role in providing analytics and support to the various functions of the group including race engineering, drivers, strategy and tyre performance. This role offers a rare opportunity to be involved in the world of Formula 1 from an early stage in your career. The postholder will have the opportunity to contribute to the operation of our F1 cars, working closely with the various disciplines within the Vehicle performance group and our drivers. This role offers the ability to develop your analytical thinking, data analysis and communication skills in this face paced but very rewarding environment.
Shape the Future
Collaborate with engineers and users across the business to design and build software that supports performance optimisation.

- Performance Optimisation Graduate
Join our Race & Performance Engineering team, where we focus on extracting every ounce of speed and efficiency from both car and driver. Working across the full race cycle from pre-event planning and simulation to live trackside support and post-event analysis you’ll provide factory-based support, data analysis, and reporting that directly contributes to on-track performance. This role sits within the Race Engineering group, responsible for preparing and delivering race weekends, and offers hands-on experience in optimising car and driver performance. Ideal for students with a mechanical or automotive engineering degree, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in tools like MATLAB, Power BI, and MS Office. A passion for motorsport and the ability to work under pressure in a collaborative environment are essential.
